Cloud 9 Float Club is the home of flotation therapy in Canterbury. We've been helping the people of Canterbury use flotation therapy to escape, beat stress, reduce anxiety and build resilience since April 2016.

Flotation therapy is a holistic restoration tool designed to allow the mind and the body freedom from tension and overstimulation. It involves lying effortlessly for just under an hour in a concentrated solution of epsom salts and pure water set at skin temperature inside a large ‘pod’ designed to restrict light and sound. It is a unique experience, even the buoyancy alone is an enjoyable sensation.
Lying weightless in your float pod in silence and darkness, your nervous, skeletal and muscular systems can surrender to profound relaxation. Muscles release fully, blood circulation is improved, heart rate lowers, pain and inflammation are reduced.
